Flutie was never too short to play in the NFL. He was too short for GMs to believe in him, but every time he got a chance to play in the NFL he did well. For Tebow wide passing lanes don’t help when you regularly miss receivers by 5 yards. The one thing that might help him is the game up there is a lot slower than the NFL. But it’s still much more passing oriented than the NFL because of the 3 downs and I just don’t see anybody wanting him.
