I think Dave Dougherty and I give a pretty good answer in our new book, “A Patriot’s History of the Modern World to 1945”: the answer is American Exceptionalism, which consists of Christian religion, common lae, private property with titles and deeds, and a free market. These are all contained in the Constitution, and in 1789 only one other country, Britain, had these elements-—but not written in a code or Constitution. But Britain has all but lost common law, mostly lost the Christian religion, and is losing its free market.
Hello LS, learned sage.
What intrigues me is how Europe is trying to find itself again. Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, etc. have realized multi-culturalism does not work. European countries are too small and easily swallowed by immigrants who refuse to adapt to other nationalities.
It is easy for liberal fascism to teach disrespect for the Constitution. For them it is always personal destruction and character assassination. Our Founders owned slaves and were God fearing. How can anything coming from their antediluvian quill pens be believed and respected?
