Officials in a small Utah town want to make sure every head of household has a firearm and knows how to use it, and they want to give school teachers training with guns too.

They need to post road sings on roads leading into the town, saying,
“Gun free Zone... NOT!”
or,
“Warning: all households fully armed!”
or,
“Crime will be punished. IMMEDIATELY!”
Bump.
There must be something about the water from Rocky Mountain snowmelt which makes people so sensible. But, for some reason, it doesn’t work in Denver.

Simple, it’s downwind from Boulder!
Nothing like a well armed populace to keep the people honest. A well armed society is a polite society, and it keeps the police budget to a minimum, along with promoting personal responsibilty.
This was all done before. Goreville, Il. 1982. In response to the Morton Grove Handgun Ban (since quietly rescinded because it didn’t work).
About 12 miles from me.
I expect many towns will have something like this on the city limits sign.
SWISS ARMED
All citizens of this township are equipped with automatic weapons and are active members of the community militia.
Or...
“Caution: Children at Play (will be protected!)”
Just upriver from Denver, (and Golden,CO, home of the Coors Brewery) There is an amazing river full of Cat 3-4 Rapids. I went white water rafting on this particular river after a huge snow melt.
EVERYBODY(except me and my sister (Pistol-Packin’ Janet) PEED in their wetsuits.
It must be all the sissy enzymes in the tourist-pee that pollutes the water in Boulder, Denver, and Golden. I might also be an explanation for the flavor of Coors Light.
LOL! Maybe you’re on to something there: the tourist pee also explains the deviant behavior of sissy voters in Boulder, Golden and Denver as compared to the rest of the solid voters in the Rocky Mountain states.
It is now our family motto:
“Malloy Women Don’t Pee In Their Wetsuits” Emblazoned under a photo of me and Janet Holding Our Paddles aloft!
The I25 corridor suffers from California immigrant dumbassitis. I’ve watched it incubate for the last 3-4 decades as the Calidemorats escape from the mess they already made. Same is true for the I5 and US 97 corridors. Worst thing is it gets hard for the rest of us to out vote those idiotclusters.
