Several Wyoming lawmakers are proposing legislation designed to protect gun-owners from any potential federal firearm ban. The Firearms Protection Act bill, introduced this week, would make any federal law banning semi-automatic firearms or limiting the size of gun magazines unenforceable within the states boundaries.
Anyone trying to enforce a federal gun ban could face felony charges under the proposal. It also includes a provision allowing the Wyoming Attorney Generals office to defend any state resident against any federal firearm ban.
I sure hope so, and I hope Indiana moves quickly.
Just south of there, Colorado governor Chickenpooper just finished his ‘State of the State’ speech. I didn’t watch it, but apparently it had a lot of gun ban stuff, which I’m sure will show up here soon.
Thought WY was now controlled by the progressives???
My sister sent this to me, I have forwarded it to my State Senator and Legislator as I did your 5 part article “An Opinion on Gun Control”
FU Obama!!!
Yeah! Then they will fold just like TX's jelly-knees act over the TSA issue...Lots of big talk, but when the fed even hints at a threat, they'll all fold.
Once the camel gets it's nose in your tent...it is the camel's tent. Education, environment, health, etc, etc....Johnson & Nixon & Bush surrendered us to the final chapter in this marxist winning strategic plan conceived in the late 1800's.
No, Freudenthal's gone. You must be thinking of Colorado.
“Once the camel gets it’s nose in your tent...it is the camel’s tent.”
Not really.
There are still a number of conservative states out there.
That was due to the manuverings of Texas Lt. Gov Dewhurst.
You recall good `ol Dave, right?
Texas politican since 1998, "Next-in-line" for the seat of vacating RINO U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison, etc.
He got his ass primaried into a future unemployment line by a TEA Party noob, Ted Cruz.
Texas Legislature just cranked up and he is still in office.
This one ought to be interesting. Gov. Perry got a wakeup call in the Presidential race and Lt. Gov Dewhurst got his in the Senate primary.
.
Unfortunately, that constitutional barn door was opened long ago.
We have generations of people who think protecting stupid people from themselves or certain boogie-men warrants expansion of the government and more taxes. Now the big nanny is here to stay...
Whoops! Sorry...
