I suspect theft is needed by organized crime and citizens who are stopping theft, carjackings, and other related crimes are impeding the buisiness of organized crime. Think Chicago where the criminals demanded unarmed citizens AND GOT IT.

No, they made our children sitting ducks for crazies, when they made the schools gun free zones. All they have to do is sit back and wait for the crazies to take advantage of the gun free zones.
You could always leak your unrealistic musings to Prison Planet or some other bunch of conspiratards and watch the fun begin.
I keep thinking the same thing but I think it’s just the filter. How many gun stories where someone has saved lives with a gun being Ignored? All of them.
This one probably fits their template just well; they have a bunch of liberals to interview on scene and the teachers talked the suspect down from his rage. It all fits well for them.
I think we all have that thought somewhere crossing our minds.
I’m reading Matthew Bracken’s “Enemies Foreign and Domestic” so if I don’t watch myself I’ll be tempted to wonder that too. I firmly believe that while us gun nuts shiver when we hear of another school shooting liberals are overjoyed.
