If a sitting elected official can modify your Constitutional rights with the stroke of a pen, you have no immutable rights. At that moment we no longer live in the America we grew up in, but in tyranny and oppression.

Because if your elected officials can take our rights by edict you truly have no rights. Today's anti-gun dictator may become tomorrow's anti-speech dictator.

Regardless what he “allows” or forbids, only a dictator creates or takes rights with the stroke of a pen.

Ditto your post with one add on.

"At that moment we no longer live in the America we grew up in, but in tyranny and oppression."

IMHO, we already live in an America far different than the America we grew up in.

With Obama, tyranny and oppression can only get worse.

"Today's anti-gun dictator may become tomorrow's anti-speech dictator"

ObaMao has already crossed the anti free speech threshold. Remember his director of whitehut communication requesting forwarding private emails to them from anyone criticizing their takeover of healthcare... among other usurpations.
