I love upbeat, good news stories like this. Five rounds in the face and body from a .38 and he’s still alive? 5 out of 6 in a dark crawlspace. Good shooting!
The bad guy escaped and is still alive as of that video. She was out of ammo apparently. What if there was more than one bad guy? She'd be SOL. What if it was a gang? She would have needed what the fiends want to ban!

If only she'd had my 12 gauge Remington 870 TaC X with a half dozen slugs this story could've had a happy ending.

Sounds like she knows how to handle a weapon but a shame it wasn't loaded with hollow points.
Maybe she and her husband should consider a semi-auto, more rounds are always good. I have the feeling she could handle it just fine.

It would be fun to see a photo of his new face. Probably no solid hits. One dead center would have sent him to hell. He was lucky.
