To: ProtectOurFreedom
This was required reading in some of our sixth or seventh grade classes.

I was assigned to read it in school. I loved it and still remember some of it many decades later. I should track down a copy!

Somehow I doubt kids in Massachusetts today are being assigned to read Johnny Tremain. More likely they are being given Commie Dreams from My Deadbeat Dad or some such trash.

We have a classoom set in our middle school book room! Great books never go away....
