Just because Virginia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe is pushing for an assault weapons ban and one-gun-a-month restriction in the Old Dominion doesnt mean hes opposed to slinging lead.
In fact, the former Democratic Party chairman is one of Virginias newest gun owners, the proud papa of a sleek Beretta over and under shotgun, the standard of excellence at the areas skeet ranges.
Secrets first heard of his purchase over the weekend from shoppers at Dicks Sporting Goods in Baileys Crossroads who saw the likely Democratic gubernatorial nominee shouldering one of the pricy long guns.

mcauliffe’s ace in the hole is he, like most other top end democrats, knows a good mad bomber ~ the Algore does, and so does Obama, and then there’s Bill Clinton who has dozens at his beck and call. you work your way down the porking order in that crowd you will find many other bomber/politician relationships.
A C-note for a used mag? I’m proud to say I’ve never spent a penny with these clowns and will keep it that way.
Maybe John Fn Kerry can lend him “can ah get me a huntin license here?”
and then he can teach us about how the 2nd Amendement is about duck hunting.
This author is apparently not into shotgun shooting sports. As the proud dad of a 2 time All-American (trap); IMHO the standard of excellence is a Perazzi. Others may argue a Kriegoff. Beretta makes a nice gun but few top shooters would use them if not for their agressive sponsor program.

Local gun show this past weekend had em for $25; new ones were about $35. High end was $40.
