Just wait until the comet in 2014.If you're referring to
Comet Ison, it should become visible in Sept of this year, and may become brighter than a full moon. Way cool.

Panstarrs is less promising, but due in the middle of March. Kinda a warm up.
ISON won’t really get going until November, early December. Could be truly spectacular, when it gets here.
