Egypts minority Christians were celebrating their first Christmas after the election of an Islamist president and a new popeand following adoption of a constitution many argue has an Islamist slant.
Concerned for their future and their ancient heritage in Egypt, some Copts are reportedly considering leaving the country.
As Egypt struggles with the role of religion in society, many Copts are aligning themselves with moderate Muslims and secular Egyptians who also fear the rise of Islamic power.

I’m an American, and I marked Christmas with a fear of the future. I think things are going to get very rough for Christians worldwide.
Remember, the same person who is funding Morsi and the Islamist takeover of Egypt...is also president of the United States.
The Islamists are only allowing Christmas to be celebrated in order to more readily identify Christians so that they can persecute them more efficiently.
But in the end, those who put their faith in Christ, will come out of this victorous because of a victorous Savior.
That is exactly right. We have already won,the entire Heavenly and demonic hosts know it, and too many Christians are trembling in their foxholes.
Prayers up for them.
Pray for believers in harms way in the middle east,
For anyone sitting on the sidelines, this is spiritual warfare at work, its past time to choose sides.
