Perhaps a bit overboard, but Lincoln did do some detestable things: suspending
Haebus Corpus, for one.
(This is rather akin to 'indefinite detention', though IIRC there still had to be a reason for those detainments, whereas the judiciary is sliding to the position that 'indefinite detention' does
not need an [absolute/substantiated] accusation.)
Certainly in those ways Obama and Lincoln are similar.
