Now that they’re a “state” does this mean that when they fire rockets, or allow rockets to be fired from their territory that they’re declaring state-on-state war? Those rockets are now coming from a neighboring country, not some lawless territory.

No. The rockets come from Ghaza, which hasn’t declared itself a state because it’s still occupied, even though no soldiers are holding onto territory within Ghaza. It’s occupied because the IDF is blockading Ghaza because it’s firing rockets. Its rockets are justified because the IDF is blockading Ghaza. But it’s not a state, or if it is, it’s not the same state as Fatahistan, but Hamastan. I hope this explanation helps clarify things. I would hate to have anything unclear. Then everyone gets confused, and confusion is a bad thing./sarc?
