It’s time to march on the RNC. We can’t take back the country without taking back the party first.

My first act of 'business' in this New Year was to remove myself from the GOP voter rolls on Wednesday morning, changing my registration to Independent.

Not one thin dime will go to a GOP 'committee' at any level .. time/money contributions to individual candidates ONLY.

The spineless pukes want to ignore us ?  Both sides can play that game !

If a FEW,000,000 of us did the same, there's just a chance - albeit a slim one - that it might make a last gasp difference.

Ah, well. We really didn’t want to win mid term in 2014, did we?

I got a GOP fundraising call about 20 minutes ago, asking me to contribute to the RNC. I told the guy to perform an unnatural act on himself and to take my name off his list.

Cantor voted against the fiscal cliff deal, which raised taxes on a majority of Americans...

That's a flat out lie. The taxes had already gone up. The deal eliminated tax hikes on everyone making less than $400,000 a year, and made the Bush tax rates on them permanent. Whatever it's other faults the deal resulted in lower taxes for most Americans.

So there was arm-twisting and threats? So what? Why should that have stopped anyone from trying to save this country? That doesn’t suprise me or even upset me

What ticks me off is that cowardly house representatives did not have the balls to even try and run against boehner. He was unopposed.

I don’t blame boner. I blame house conservatives. We don’t deserve to lead the house of representatives if only nine voted against the RINO. Cowards. All of them except nine.

I’m not surprised. We tried working within the GOP for the last couple of years and found that same ole boy RINO network at the local levels. This last crap maneuver should have driven the last stake into any real conservative still calling themselves a Republican. We need another party NOW, before the 2014 elections.

The RNC just called asking for money. I laughed, “you got to be kidding!”

What a putz!

He and Harry Reid are gangsters ... and both houses caved to them, or will.

Unbelievable, this is a man who will do anything to secure his position. And we’re stuck with him till mid-terms 2014.

Kiss our collective a**es goodbye. He just went to aid the President in his agenda.

This is the main problem with our government. Congress is supposed to be representative of the people, but Chairmanship and Committee seat are set up to be little dictatorships. My Oregon senator ends up representing Harry Reid’s state rather than Oregon. There must be a better way to set up committees.

The GOP thinks they can win an election without a party base.

Good luck with that. You lost me, and I'm not coming back.

There was a fellow on the radio one eve who was well-versed n how it all works.

One of the key components is being able to get a plum job as head of some kind of committee.

The reason is each committee has, as part of it’s budget, basically a discretionary amount that the head (or leaders) of the committee get to spend.

For big, important committees, it can be 100K to 200K or even more.

So if you get a job as head of a committee, it’s like getting a credit card with 200K on it you get to spend no matter what... as long as it can be reasonably connected to committee business.

This is money on top of your regular pay as a congresscritter.

After that, if you want to KEEP your job as committee head, you basically stay ready to ben dover and DO WHAT THE BOSSES TELL YOU!

The entire system is irreparably corrupt.

In other words: “They went along to get along.”

What have I been saying all of this time??? Seems to be true every time.

The Republicans are the “go along to get along” party and will never change.

Never forget the “RULE.” If you go along to get along you will be rewarded with riches and power while you are in office and after you serve your masters and retire.

Ronald Reagan, a former Democrat, when asked why he left the Democrat Party said something to the effect that, “I didn’t leave the Democrat Party. The Democrat Party left me.”

Well, after 48 years of being a loyal registered Republican, I know that I have not left the party of my youth. That party has left me. Accordingly, I no longer consider myself a Republican and will be changing my voter registration to Independent. I will continue to support conservative Republicans.

Unfortunately, I live in California where my RINO Republican Congresswoman, Mary Bono Mack who ran a horrible campaign was defeated by an ultra left wing Democrat who posed as a moderate. And then we have the obnoxious Boxer and her cohort Feinstein.

With Obama, Biden, Boxer, Fineswine and now Raul Ruiz, I have to ask whether there is any hope. Surely, not from the likes of Boehner and Cantor. As for the Republican Party, it is dead here in California and on life support at the national level.
