More likely (I hope!) the Rats in congress were watching this as a guide to how hard they should push Sweinstein's bill.
We'll know if they back off... but I believe I'll go to Walmart for more 30-06 and .45 (yes, .223 and .308 are gone, but .45 and 9mm is still available locally.)
Just as a gauge - no .22LR boxes larger than 50’s available at the local Cabela’s.
