I, for one, am glad of it. It’s very annoying to treat citizen gunowners one way, and police another. The only way we’re going to fix this is exactly how this situation worked out. Good job, Denny’s; good job, Chief. If the people don’t like it, they can change the rules.

My local Denny’s made the mistake of putting up a no-guns sign a while back. When regulars like your’s truly stopped coming in, they discovered that their best customers who also tip generously might have been offended.

Hey these restaurant owners have heard for weeks everyone is SAFER when there are no guns on premises.

Also, how is it that you want the police in your children’s schools to provide security, but not in Denny’s. You are not allowed in the schools with a gun either.
