I totally agree- He would probably be the best choice. While I sort of prefer Newt, he does have a great many detractors.

No excuses, no reasons matter when we need a giant head banger as Speaker. Don’t worry, we’ll get Boehner back, or his establishment clone, Cantor. It’s the RINO way, don’tcha know, and all RINOS and socialists despise Newt. Then their come the unforgiving Puritans, and the anti-Catholics who are worse than the unforgivable Puritans, so what’s to worry. I like who his enemies are, because they are mine.

Don’t let the door hit your ass on the way out Bonehead. What a disaster as a Speaker.

LOL!
At least apply “spell check” before you post.
I already know you won’t apply logic, reality or reason...

remaining registered pub, at least in my state, allows me to vote in the primary for the T.E.A. party candidate to succeed over the entrenched GOPe incumbant.
I'm giving this some thought, we have the same system here, yet I am thinking of going Ind., just for the scare factor, then change back just in time for the elections.

Besides, Gingrich is too busy crusading for climate change and same-sex marriage. An inconvenient fact too many Newtbots are willing to overlook because he talks a good game.

The whole thing is silly, no one wants that job.
Of course Cantor is the same. He just does the Kabuki dance.
How about the Boy Wonder Ryan?? :)

It may only take 17 right wing repubs to block Boehner, but It only takes 17 left wing repubs to install Bill Clinton as Speaker, or Michelle Obama, or Hillary Clinton, or god knows who else.
The “blockcade” republicans need to be very careful how they play their hand.
To: drewh
The Constitution does not say this. It’s a House rule.

Methinks we are all being played by the inmates of the soon to be opened Washington D.C. Federal Penitentiary an Museum.
