Bashir said he found that hard to believe, to which Meyer replied that he also found it unlikely. With Meyer essentially stating here that even he doesn't trust his own source, it's a safe bet that nothing's happening.

It would be the honorable thing to do.
and the media will go crazy praising him for sacrificing his Speakership to thwart the “mean conservatives” on the ‘Fiscal Ckiff’ LOL!
Oh, the scripts the media has...

He has "reliable sources" yet he finds it "unlikely"?
So how "reliable", then, are these sources?

Why couldn’t he have resigned last night??

They're just trying to get us all excited ... and then they'll pull the rug out from under us.
(HOWEVER, Breitbart is reporting the same, so there is a faint glimmer of hope!)

Hope it is true, but doubt that it is.
The split vote on the Fiscal Cliff bill was a definite ‘no confidence’ vote against Boehner, even though the bill passed.

"Senior sources" hanging out at the senior center?
Either he's extremely -- morbidly -- conscientious and obsessed by honor and shame or this is all a crock. Ordinary politicians don't resign over something like this.
Then again, he does cry a lot, so who knows?

Sure, wait until after the vote. Cry baby can pat himself on the back for a job well done. Job done in helping to destroy America, that is.

....hearing rumors form reliable sources that House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) will resign the speakership tonight. I hope it's true! And if so, I hope the door hits crybaby Boner really hard on the ass on the way out! Good riddance. Too bad this didn't happen on Dec 30 instead of Jan 2. But I still have to see it to believe it.
