I, for one, would not be surprised if Chris Christie left the Republican Party to become a dem or independent.
If that happens I will be the first to celebrate..the GOP needs to purge BADLY the RINOS and the progressives..and the sooner the better

He won’t do that; he represents the English-speaking taxpayers of NJ, and will continue in that role for as long as he wants. As an employable straight white guy, he is the natural enemy of Dems; as an independent he would lose what Republican machine is in place in NJ.
