By GOD I’m no Boehner fan and would just as soon see him out, but if he really did tell dingy Harry to go F himself he finally did something I wholeheartedly approve of.
Oh, please. We can skip a lot of that. We just have to get the race and gender cards out of play, badly.
The left has made it all about identity politics, and a lot of women voted for Obama yet again. “Looks like me” and “understands me” are two VERY important criteria for so-called minority low-info voters, who make up the large majority of the electorate.
Your ‘qualifications’ are silly. That tokenism got Steele leading the RNC- to disaster.
Any Speaker who will allow the conservative majority of our caucus to win it’s fair share of fights is all we need.
It’s Boehner’s tactic of letting the conservatives vote against bad Democrat bills that will pass anyway that is demoralizing and destroying the Party.
But he can BE Speaker, nothing in the Constitution say it has to be a congresscritter.
Okay, you’re thinking I’m saying that those are the most important qualifications. I’m not, I’m saying that if we have multiple candidates for the position that are *equally* qualified and one is a minority, they should get the nod this time by.
We have a lot of minority conservatives in the House now - yet the media and Dems keep painting the Reps as the party of rich white guys. Kind of hard to do that when the person they have to cover as the Speaker of the House is a competent person that happens to be a minority.
