That’s not how Moslems fought in the Six Day War. Their will to fight was quickly broken.

Excellent point. Then they were fighting against a people that were more than willing to kill every last one of them (and did kill quite a few). The moslems knew it was either stop attacking or islam would be wiped off the face of the earth. So they stopped and proceeded to lay in wait. They were still fighting, they're just not blatant about it.

If the Taliban are right about anyone, it is the USA’s left-leaning leadership. Otherwise, saying that the Taliban is correct is siding with them.

If they are not correct than why does mecca still exist? Islam attacked us on 911. Mecca, and medina at a minimum should be nothing but glowing radioactive wreckage. But there were very few voices (I was one of them) calling for us to punish islam. We'll have to nuke them eventaully, may as well get it over with now.

That can arguably apply to Afghanistan, but to a great extent not South Vietnam. Though its (US-installed) government was worthless, many South Vietnamese still had considerable nobility.

The ARVN fought for two years after the US left and the North invaded, before they basically ran out of supplies and had to surrender. And this was in the face of the North having virtually unlimited supply from the Soviet Union.

I will add as a note that the US Army was so incredibly bitter about the Democrat congress abandoning Vietnam and the men they had trained, that they went to extraordinary lengths to insure that the Iraq army would be set on a path of success ASAP. The US Army *assumed* that a Democrat congress would betray the Iraqis just as they had the Vietnamese, and wanted the Iraq army to prevail even if they were betrayed.
