What is in the bill?
Congratulations to Obama.

All Republicans In Louisiana also voted no . We in Louisiana are proud of you. And notice the democrat/communist maggot voted yes
I’m going to tweet them and thank them.
Thanks for the ping and your work on the Michigan ping list, ‘creek. (I forgot to put you in the “To” box in the post above.)
My congressman (Kevin Brady- TX8) has always claimed to be a conservative’s conservative. He sure screwed the pooch this time. SOB will be hearing about it for sure.
Sessions, Y; Smith, Y; Thornberry, Y
.... and Brady
I am a dual state resident. Way past time to get rid of Coble (R NC). The TN guys did good.
Live in Alabama. Of my 7 reps. the lone Dem voted yes. The one that hurts though is my Senator Jeff Sessions voted yes in the house. I still don’t understand. I have only disagreed with him once on a vote but this one is heartbreaking. :( This has not started out to be a better year.
Mine voted No.
On the plus side, this means that only 85 house Republicans support Boehner. Boehner went into this vote knowing that it would win with mostly Democrat support.
Since it will be all of congress that votes for the next Speaker of the House, unless these Democrats vote to make Boehner Speaker again, I suspect he is out of there.
If he does become Speaker because Democrats voted for him, he will bring ruination on the Republican caucus, and likely his own self.
Of those 180 plus Repubs who voted no, they should form 30 or 40 and proclaim a new party. They would be the deciding swing voting block in the house. They’d be able to block this upcoming debt ceiling hike.
