Plan B vote. He did not have the votes for Plan B and obviously he did
not have the votes to pass this bill tonight without the help of the Rats.
Chill out. The rich pay more and you keep your rates as they are.

Plan B would have cut taxes on the first million, you and Pelosi won and killed it in the House.
So now taxes are only cut on the first $400K of income, you got your tax increase on that additional $600K by killing plan B.

None of your heroes who voted their meaningless symbolic NOs on this bill will challenge Bohner tomorrow, he gave them cover with his move,
1) Bohner put up the Obama-McConnell bill knowing House Dems would pass it with a few Rs, including Ryan
2) Many house Rs got their safe symbolic NOs against it knowing that the bill would pass anyway and so our taxes wouldn’t go up as they would if it failed.
3) None of them wanted their votes to kill it, they were just playing their symbolic ‘no’ game.
4) So they will all support Bohner as Speaker. That is the real vote, none will step up to challenge him.
