We must run tough candidates in 2014.

RAT bastard commie pig 0dumb0 having a great laugh, as he beats the sh_t out of the cowardly Repukes once again, in both the Senate & the House. The bastard is well on his way to destroying our once great USA, and doing it with the active support & complicity of the GOP Repukes!

Well, this goes to show that Obama is quite competent. His goal are just not what we might hope or understand. Our national community organizer. The goals and aspirations of the 60’s Marxist / social justice activists are becoming national policy.

One person who deserves blame for this is Karl Rove. He was the one who, in 2001, thought it preferable to let the Bush tax cuts have an expiration date. In his figuring, that would allow Republicans to bash Democrats for not voting to extend the lower tax rates. How did that work out? If the tax cuts had been permanent (even with a lower tax cut to fit within the dollar figures), then the next Dem President wouldn’t have the leverage that Obama had.

I felt myself physically react to this news...I am sure my face blanched. I have a sense of doom, like a darkening shadow is bearing down on what is left of the country I love.

There can be no good outcome to the global escalation of debt...debt that no country, including the USA, has any intention of covering. The collapse, I expect, will be camouflaged by the fog of war, and the USA will be the prime target.

Why, you may ask? Of all the countries in the world, we SHOULD have been in a position to be able to pick up the pieces, economically. Instead, we've been doing our best to catch up to Greece. Rightly or wrongly, we'll be blamed when the global ponzi scheme becomes irredeemably unsustainable.

I grieve for my country.

The republicans went for broke and lost out.

Maybe we should have gone for plan B.

Well McConnell was able to avoid a big confrontation which might have cost him the election in 2014.

As an aside, FX had 300 on today and I really think Zer0 did a great job capturing Xerxes. That was Zero, right?

Even though I knew this would end in failure as sequestration was a terrible idea as it meant an increase in taxes across the board, stupidly throwing the baby out with the bathwater, I still feel a sense of loss as a citizen.

BOEHNER MUST GO! IT MAY BE TOO LATE TO SAVE THIS COUNTRY BUT IF WE’RE GOING TO TRY HE HAS TO BE FIRED SINCE HE HELPED PUT OUR BACKS AGAINST THE WALL! HE’S NOT JUST INEFFECTIVE, HE’S SABOTAGING ANY EFFORT TO PRESERVE OUR REPUBLIC!

Meanwhile, Pravda is running editorials that ridicule the U.S. for its socialist policies. Russia has a 13% flat tax.

It appears that Obama now wholly owns this economy - along with the so-called recovery.

He has been given all the rope he asked for...
