Dr. Coburn basically said he viewed the vote as a tax cut because our taxes had went up as of today. I see where he is coming from because in reality my taxes did go up today...but I still don’t like it but I can live with it.

I went them to hold the line on the debt ceiling. I think we have leverage in that debate if played right. Also it is a good thing that these tax cuts are PERMANENT....this can’t be used anymore.

But these tax cuts AREN’T permanent. obama has already said he will want more tax increases if the GOP wants spending cuts.

Not according to the president, who has already said next year he will demand higher taxes again. Do you think the republicans will stop him then?

Please tell me you didn't really fall for this line of BS.This was a vote for more taxes and more spending. Coburn, once again, is all mouth, no backbone.
