You, Sir, are an idiot! He serves the Constitution, not the person in the white hut. His oath is to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign or domestic.

Yes, I swore that same oath upon being hired as a civilian for DoD work for the Navy (1973). I was always aware that I had done so. A few years ago, when they were shipping personnel folders to some other location, I reviewed mine, and asked for a copy of the form with my signature on that oath. Then sadly I realized that if I posted it on my office door, I would be catagorized as some nut.
When I retired, they did not ‘read me out’ of that oath.
That oath is still in effect. It is my duty as a citizen to uphold it. It should be the duty of all citizens, whether sworn, or not.
