Regardless, no one is perfect, not even the hero who steps forward while those crouched in fear often find fault with his actions.

Perhaps your husband did act inappropriately, but one has to ask, who, why, and what, was the instigation. I bet he has a different take on the story.

The only two reasons I can come up with are that his survivor guilt/PTSD made him feel he had no right to a happy life so he tried to ruin our marriage; or that as I have read, some soldiers are angry at women for never having to experience what they have had to.

He has been dead now for 7 years, and I have been in a wonderful relationship for the past 6 years.
