After hearing others talk about it, I too, have come to the conclusion that Kabuki Dances aside, the Senate and The House will not vote on any last minute cliff deal.

I think you are close. What is happening is, The media is carrying the White House narrative of the President who is the one rolling up his sleeves, "rushing back from vacation" etc. in order to "save the country from disaster" while the Republicans are getting the blame for stalemating talks for their "unreasonable" demands. So in turn, the Senate puts together a hodgepodge of a package and is seen as moving the ball "forward" so the complete onerous will fall on the House Republicans. No matter what they do, they will bear the brunt of the criticism of any of the Bill's shortcomings. I mean after all, they House Republicans are beholden to the Tea Party and the President only wants to "help the middle class." And you know, Boehner wants to also be seen as a "man of the people" and will agree with the new tax height threshold. Here I sit reading this mornings headline and sure enough, I see one that says, "Why The Republicans Lost the Fiscal Cliff Battle" like it is a Sunday night game to win or lose.

This whole mess has just amazed me. I mean, except for the simplest of the simple minded Obama voter knows having the "rich" pay a "little more" does almost zero to solve our budget problems. Even slowing the rate of growth of programs does little. But hey, the government wants to play games and keep kicking the can down the road? The day of reckoning will come someday.

There are no Republican heroes anymore. Even the Tea Party Republicans are aiding the Democrats in gutting the military, because they rationalize that it is "at least some savings." Meanwhile, they do nothing about what is really causing out debt, deficit, and imminent collapse: Entitlements.

All Republicans are now "Democrat-Lite" in that respect. None of have any intestinal fortitude to stop the ATM Direct Deposit checks.

I am more convinced than ever that Satan knows exactly what he is doing regarding finance and the end times. Read the Book of Revelation. The world is enslaved primarily through financial means, and the world has given the Evil One the tools to do it.

There will be a "worldwide economic collapse" - but it won't be the lovely "re-set" that many here on FreeRepublic dream of.

In that latter scenario, some Freepers see themselves as the smarter survivors, who cached guns and gold and will come out the "winners." I don't believe it will come about that way. A new more insidious "system" will replace our current one (as bad as it is), and the preppers will have to get in line like everyone else.

The world will utterly panic when the collapse comes. Where will the men and women of courage be at that time? No where. Look what happened this week! The RINOs will be little Marxist and work with the Marxists for a "solution."

Then, we will turn over our sovereignty, our currency, and our hopes on a new world monetary system. That is going to happen, period.

I thought the senate would not pass a tax increase bill.
Looks like they have.

What is happening is no one cares!!!

MY mom and I cared and watched the news, the commentary, the newspapers describing the tragedy that would be a second term for Obama. I watched as our GOP played games while Obamas team picked apart our Constitution and ravaged the military. We were enraged and believed there was something we could do.....we got involved. To our dismay, no one knew about Benghazi...no one knew about the multiple problems Obama has brought to our country...and sad no one cares. My mom and I were heart broken as Romney lost, surely Obama the worst president in history could not win again....but he did. My 75 year old mother almost went into a state of depression....and all the GOP continue to play and laugh and eat with the enemy.

Our pledge....live a life of excellence, stand above the fray and remember God is our only stability and refugee.

We vowed to turn off and stay away from everything that is politics for the next 4 years. Its an unwinnable game that is already fixed by lobbyist and corrupt minds. We cannot win, but God will have the last word. I would rather be on his team, than trust anyone in the GOP or the tea party....money talks......corruption is breeded in D.C. I will not contribute to it anylonger. God BLess our Troops...they will need it ;)

This save the day on the 11th hour...a bunch of crap. They are all worthless and do not deserve the title of civil servant. Where are the men and women of excellence? Where are the Americans that love and vowed to stand for the constitution? I see nada, no one in D.C.
