As my wife and I did when we toured the U.S. recently, covering about 14,000 miles. We also twice drove non-stop across New York, spending not one thin dime in New York in either direction.

We made many stops in Texas, Virginia, and other states where I could legally carry.

LOL, for me to travel between Colorado and Central Indiana I have the choice of

- suck it up and go through IL
- Travel from MO into IA, WI than a boat from Milwaukee WI to Michigan then down into Indiana. Want to add that IA and WI are not friendly towards drivers who drive vehicles with very dark tinting
- Other route MO into TN tan KY and up into Indiana
