Don't know, but I know of a well known Alternative Rock Band called 10,000 Maniacs. And yes, they are New Yorkers.

#34: The movie about “10,000 Maniacs” was actually a documentary about the 2000 Democratic Party convention”.

A sequel called “20,000 Maniacs” was planned for the 2004 DP Convention but some delegates ate the producer and film crew so it was cancelled.

By the time 2008 came around, there was no need for another movie of any title with the word “Maniac” in it. Sane people knew and voted for McCain. The Zombies, unwashed and greatly uninformed voted for the Maniacs and got them

2012 just proved you didn’t need another sequel to know that the Maniacs still ran the country.

2016 might have a movie entitled “Zombieland 2016: A new beginning”. Or it might not if the zombies still rule.
