I've heard stories where Mi-24 Hinds were shot down by AK-47's back in the 1980's in Afghanistan...I'm not sure I'd believe that one, unless they actually shot the pilot.
I don't think there was any serious attrition of Soviet helicopter gunships until the Afghans started acquiring Stingers.

I don’t know, the AK round is akin to a .30-30, perhaps it hit something on the Hind that’s vulnerable and that’s what brought it down.
