This idiot drove Melton off the road and raped her by hand then beat her to death with a baseball bat after the rape . Of course the media doesn't show us this but makes the mass shooters world famous, immortal, to be remembered, a household name. If I were the media I would make hope melton a household name as she should be as she was a victim. But no one has heard of her. this is how the media controls even you “a coservative woman”. Let me tell you why to me a conservative wouldn't pose that question. To me a conservative wouldn't want to give more power to the federal government to control guns or “assault weapons” or anything for that matter. let me ask you a question , do you think the government has enough size , too much size and power already ? Why Why give these government cretins any more power at all regardless of what the stupid liberal media says is needed to correct some crises? you have to understand that it is the media that gets people talking about gun control . the media caused this shooting by giving previous shooter fame. Yes they can report it but they don't have to identify the perpetrator and they don't have to make it the story of the year to make it what people are talking about now but they do , and they make this creep famous to create the next mass shooter.
so the media put that question you asked into the national conversation. so you have to understand the media put it there and is putting you and all of us in mortal danger as they want to take away our right to defend ourselves against rapist murderers and robbers etc. but mainly so we can't defend ourselves against a tyranicall government.

My question did not come from any lack of conservatism. It is born more out of total ignorance about guns because in my life, I was never exposed to them except on TV and in movies.
And yes, I believe government has gotten way too big and is trying to claim increasing control over our lives.
