Likewise, I don’t “need” my auto insurance today — well, yeah, I do, because I own and operate a motor vehicle and it’s required by law — but if it were not for that, I wouldn’t “need” it today. Heaven forbid, if I got into an accident tomorrow, I would, but I don’t “need” it now.
