Staten Island is the most conservative part of NYC. Staten Island voted for McCain in 2008 and narrowly for Obama in a city that is overwhelmingly liberal. Obama is just engaging in a little social re-engineering and the media won’t report it.

Nope, there are areas in Queens, Nassau and Suffolk that have not boted for a GOP POTUS in decades, were hit just as bad as Staten Island and are seeing the same inept response. It is just FEMA as usual - a royal fustercluck.

Sorry to hear than. Then it is just a case that Obama's pledge to cut through red tape and take quick action on everybody was meaningless and when the camera lights went out, Obama lost interest. And it still seems the major media is not reporting on what is happening and certainly not pressing the Regime to do more.
