Charged earlier this month was Jacquin M. Boyd, of Minneapolis. Boyd was charged in juvenile court, but prosecutors are seeking to have him stand trial as an adult.
A witness told police that Boyd yelled, “I’m a killer,” as he helped beat Scott.
