Someone please explain to me why they felt the need to add that little nugget.

Just like A.P. "Where he was born." (A.P. added "and was raised.") They are afraid they public hasn't completely swallowed this fable, so they keep repeating it in the hope that they will believe it.

BO wasn't born in Hawai'i. No one believes it. Save your ink and pixels and typing fingers.

Although I’m sure they want us to believe that, I think there is a different issue at work here. They-the MSM-have determined folks aren’t thrilled this clown vacations in Hawaii whenever possible when he never set foot there before our dime came along. They need to establish a reason this is where they spend Christmas.
