What would UK do if some Yank were on the radio or telly harping against the laws of the land and its citizens (naturally ok for a ‘native’ to do it) etc.

It depends on whether what he said was supported or opposed by the UK Left.

If a Yank were to advocate gun ownership for UK subjects, he would be taken off the air.

If he advocated elimination of further Muslim immigration he would be imprisoned for racism.
