Al-Jazeera is reporting that medics treating casualties in a rebel neighborhood in the city of Homs believe that some of the wounded were victims of a poison gas attack.

Seven people have died in Homs after they inhaled a poisonous gas sprayed by government forces in a rebel-held neighbourhood, activists said.
Activists also told Al Jazeera that scores of others were affected in al-Bayyada neighbourhood. Side effects reported include nausea, relaxed muscles, blurred vision, and breathing difficulties.
Residents said they did not know the nature of the gas sprayed. "The situation is very difficult. We do not have enough facemasks. We don't know what this gas is but medics are saying it's something similar to Sarin gas," Raji Rahmet Rabbou, an activist in Homs, told Al Jazeera.
Was the attack was staged by the rebels? It's possible. Faking a gas attack would certainly create sympathy for the rebels and anger at the Assad regime. And we shouldn't put it past the rebels to stoop to such tactics.

Such BS. Zippy Obama told them it was his red line. So now they are trying to fake it. The minute they can fake it well enough, the rebels (Al Qeida and Moslem brotherhood) get F/A-18s fighting in their side.
Probably more like “made in Libya”. The Benghazi CIA operation was Obama’s Mediterranean version of Fast and Furious. I suspect that was a huge part of the coverup. He ran guns to the Libyan rebels in their fight, and then he started using those same rebels to run them to the Syrian Rebels.
Same exact Rebels as in Egypt and Libya, he has been secretly helping the Syrian rebels.
Yes - the same gas identified in the 17 words. The same gas that Saddam gave to Assad.

Not sure we can trust Al Jazeera to report this. The emir of Qatar owns Al Jazeera and he also has been providing support to the Salafist Jihadis fighting against Assad in Syria...
Nor can anything really be told from those videos. I saw guys come out of the gas chamber in the Marine Corps in worse shape than that.
Not only do we not know who allegedly used this agent in Syria (which set of bad guys, since there are no good guys), we don’t know what the agent is.
Sarin causes much worse symptoms than what those folks in the video showed. Heck, CS causes worse symptoms for a short time than what those folks in the video showed...
I thought Sarin was a nerve agent but I may be thinking of
VX.
