I think some guys are just born effeminate. There was a kid in my neighborhood who even before we knew what sex was ....was gay... a fairy.

And some of the woman who show up in Chicago for pride weekend. Jeez are they big....backs and arms like an offensive lineman. Sometimes I don’t think it’s a choice.

Though they commonly go together, resembling the opposite sex does not necessarily imply homosexuality. How many girls are tomboys before puberty? The issue, for me, is not whether or not they’re “born that way.” Some are, more or less. Others obviously are made. Still others aren’t decided one way or another. What bothers me is the scale tipping in favor of latent homosexuality, so that for instance you can have sex with women all your life, sleep with a man, and suddenly decide you were gay all along.

Well, okay, I guess we have to take their word for it. But we don’t just do that. We try to decide for them. So that if some celebrity, say Tom Cruise or John Travolta, who have one or two effeminate qualities and are gossiped about having been caught here or there, in this of that compromised position with a man, are automatically 100% gay. What? What about all the evidence in the other direction? That doesn’t count, for a few simple reasons: a) gays and fellow travelers are interested in inflating their numbers, b) people for whatever reason think it makes a better story, and c) they don’t want to admit it’s possible for straights—for instance them—ever to have gay sex.
