I seem to remember that Vic and Irv’s had the best onion rings in town!

The Don and Bob’s that opened on Monroe Avenue in Brighton was just as good on the food level, but the “order calling” atmosphere of the lake store could not be equaled.

Remember that Vic and Irv's served up "Texas Hots", natural casing hot dogs split down the middle and grilled?

That Don and Bob's on Monroe Ave. is closed but there's another place, Don's Original, also on Monroe, that one of the son's opened up that's good with charbroiled ground rounds.
