Republican Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison told Face The Nation host Bob Schieffer Sunday that she may embrace tighter regulations on high capacity magazines and semi-automatic weapons. “I think we ought to be looking at where the real danger is,” she said. “Like those large clips, I think that does need to be looked at.”

“It’s the semi-automatics and those large magazines that can be fired off very quickly,” Hutchison continued. “I think we should be looking at those mega-opportunities as one of the things that might be looked at.”

She also discussed the need to reach out to gun owners and “real hunters” to involve them in the conversation. “We need to talk to people in all areas.”

No surprise here about outgoing Senator Hutchinson. She has long held gun control views while trying to pass herself off as being in support and being conservative. Anyone who knows much about her knows just how much she loves being a RINO and supporting liberal positions. I say good riddance at long last.
