How would taking power back from an empire that bans habeas corpus among other micromanaging/anti-freedom aspects be blackmail, I would like to know?

The EU is a nasty anti freedom entity. England is even worse. Realistically habeus corpus does not exist there either. All the cops have to do is tell the judge that they are still investigating every 72 hours or so.
Not to mention Englands universal surveillance, the fact that it’s a crime to own a TV there without paying a special tax, (complete with vans that patrol to find violators) speech crimes, thought crimes, political opposition criminalized, a absolute gun ban not seen in the EU, sharia law enforced, etc,,

No, please don’t believe that England is any better than the EU when it comes to freedom.

The real sticking point has nothing to do with freedom or rights as both the EU and Britain equally abuse both. But, the EU wants to tax financial transactions run through the London Exchanges .... that’s what the argument is all about .... the EU wants to steal Britain’s golden goose.
