Your point is well taken. America’s decline, that is the decadence, deficits, drug use, fornication and the loss of personal accountability, occurred over a fifty year period. Obama’s ascent was no accident and reflects the values of a narrow majority in a transformed America. The restoration of virtue and an American renaissance will not occur with one or two election cycles. If it is to occur ( and it is by no means certain it will), such a transformation will take two or three generations. The best decent people can do is take care of their families and vote.
What’s that old saying, “shirtsleeves to shirtsleeves in three generations”? One generation to create wealth, the second generation to squander it, the third generation to start over again from scratch.
It all began after the cold war and the commies enacted their plan for America.
