Hillary will be the next President of the United States absent any physical problem. It is as much a lock as anything is in politics. The Dems are now the permanent majority party for nationwide elections.

Not sure I agree with you about Hillary but could be. I do agree with you about the Dems being our guys for a while.

One of the bigger reasons why this is so is due to a total lack of an opposition party.

Hillary will get the Dem nomination and will be elected in 2016.

The biggest reason is the rapidly changing demographics in this country fueled by immigration, legal and illegal, and high minority birthrates. Immigrants and minorities vote Democrat. By 2019 half of the children 18 and under will be minorities as defined by the USG and by 2042 half of the country will be minorities.

Right now government at all levels controls 42% of the GDP. Almost one in every two Americans receives a government check.

Hillary's time came and went. She lost out to an upstart nobody on her way to her coronation in 2008.

The Dems are smart enough to not make the Pubbie mistake: nominating an old, over the hill hack.

Clinton in 1992 and Obama in 2008 showed them that youthful candidates have much more appeal than old fogies: GHW Bush in 1992, McCain in 2008, Romney in 2012. Dems are probably already grooming their next, while the GOPe are stuck on Jeb it's his turn Bush.
