Executive order closes federal offices Monday

WASHINGTON - Federal employees don't have to go to work on Monday, Dec. 24.
The White House announced shortly after 1 p.m. on Friday it was giving all executive branch departments and agencies the day off.

If so, a lot of people hoping for a delivery on the 24th will be disappointed.
One less day that they can crank out new regulations—not a bad excuse for picking the public’s pocket on the 24th of December.

It’s nothing to squeal about, Doesn’t make sense to bring people in to work when the next day is Christmas. About 90% of them would have taken leave anyway leavng the offices mostly empty and the ones that weren’t would be having parties or leaving at noon.

Probably not. The only religious holiday the Post Office observes is Christmas Day
Those faithful followers in northern Virginia certainly delivered that state to him, and in the process they're converting what used to be a dependably Republican state to a dependably Democrat state, complete with two RAT senators.
