(Art.) But why don’t we hear the same pain or calls for tougher gun laws from the mainstream press when Trayvon Martin was killed? Instead, the media immediately turned it into a racially motivated killing of a black boy by a white man ....

Because the Sharpton/MSM "information operation" (to borrow a term from Al Q'aeda political theorists) wasn't about murder per se, or even about YBM's dying in the street.

It was about furtherance of Reverse Jim Crow. It was "all about Whitey", and about attacking Florida's revised self-defense laws that would help white crime victims in future to defend themselves in court, after they'd defended themselves in the street only to be haled into court as White Beasts, for killing a black assailant.

Under the light of this "information operation", George Zimmermann can therefore be understood, in his situation, to have been indicted on a charge of "second degree White Beast", for defending himself with lethal force against his black attacker, Trayvon "No-Limit" Martin.
