So to combat a police state we should create a better police state?

Can we now have McDonalds put kiosks in cafeterias to combat childhood obesity?

Apparently in spite of the anti gun mediots/rats, 10,000 schools in America have armed Police officers.

We saw on a local tv news in the SF bay area, a video showing armed cops in Oakland, Ca schools. Oakland is an out of control liberal city with strict anti gun laws and is a murder capitol in Californicator land. Apparently the armed cops are preventing thugs and pyschos from shooting up Oakland kids at school.

The link below cites the 10,000 armed cops in our schools.

“Already, there are an estimated 10,000 sworn officers serving in schools around the country, most of them armed and employed by local police departments, according to a membership association for the officers. Still, they’re deployed at only a fraction of the country’s approximately 98,000 public schools, and their numbers have declined during the economic downturn. Some departments have increased police presence at schools since last week’s shooting rampage at a Connecticut elementary school that left 26 dead, but say they can only do so temporarily because of funding.”
