To: Mr. Lucky
Those of us who questioned the sincerity of Newt’s claimed embrace of the Catholic faith may now take a few moments to feel smug.

Go for it. When the primaries started, I looked at Bachmann, Cain, Palin, and thought what a great year this was going to be. What could go wrong? Plenty, as it turned out, so I fell in with Newt when it seemed that he was all that was left standing between us and Romney. Yeah, that worked. Newt couldn't overcome his past, and Romney ran away with it.

All we can hope for are better choices in 2016, and that America gets over its addiction to government freebies.

People are sorely mistaken if they believe this is due to his Catholicism. It’s not the first time Newt has demonstrated poor judgment and this criticism of him has been present - since, just about forever.

That being said, now it’s time for us to call his bishop, since he’s playing in our field now. :)
