I live over in Arlington, and as the article hints at...the safeness is readily apparent. I can venture up into DC and show you half the District as being totally unsafe during day or evening. I can take you up into several Maryland communities where it’s best to drive in....do your business and then leave.
What makes Arlington different? They’ve kinda priced out low-income neighborhoods. The number of cops also make a difference, and the attitude of the local prosecution team to maximize every single charge helps.
