If Hillary gets a pass on this, then we are abruptly learning that the Sec of State position is Miss Hoboken, an empty chair, a political appointment, carrying no more consequence than that of the Ambassador to Norway, of no real importance. Miss Hoboken should be as proud.
Attending Thursday’s hearing instead will be Deputy Secretary of State William Burns and Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources Thomas Nides.
